Asbury Counseling and Evaluation Services, LLC, established May 1, 2012, is a solo private practice that provides mental health and substance abuse evaluations and treatment for diverse client populations. I have over twenty years of experience in the counseling field, including clinical experience, supervision,  and achieving credentials as a certified drug and alcohol counselor. Please call me at (563)588-3500 or email if you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment.
Rhonda earned her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Loras College and masters degree in social work from The University of Iowa. She was inspired to go into the counseling field because of her desire to help others, along with her innate caring and compassionate nature. Rhonda specializes in the treatment of trauma, certified in level II EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), an evidence-based, integrative treatment approach that is used internationally. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, having experience with various presenting issues. She has trained in play therapy and STEPPS, a model to treat borderline personality disorder, having significant experience with addictions and co-occurring disorders. Rhonda recently achieved credentialing as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor, and in May, 2013, her practice became certified as a Targeted Small Business, woman-owned. Rhonda would be pleased to welcome you into the healing process that therapy provides for all individuals.
